See What Our Community Is Saying

Your Child's Future

Founded in 1850, La Salle is more than an education, it's a way of life. Here, exceptional academics, a loving and supportive environment, and a commitment to Christian values will encourage your daughter and/or son to realize their full potential.

Our Careful Planning

Expanding our mission to include young women takes a lot of thought and planning. That's why we have nine committees comprised of teachers, staff, parents, alumni, and others addressing everything from academics to facilities to school uniforms.

Affordability & Scholarships

We know times are tough, so let’s make a plan that works for you. For starters, upon application, we will automatically consider your daughter and/or son for scholarships and financial aid.

And All The Fun Cadets Have

Some of the best memories made at La Salle are created outside of class. From music groups to social clubs and athletics, there's something for everyone here. And all of them serve the same purpose: have fun, and become a leader while you're at it.

Our grads boast a 100% college acceptance rate. The Class of 2020 received 332 offers of admission to 113 colleges, universities, and prep schools, and earned 229 scholarships totaling $11.7 million over four years.

It's an exciting moment for La Salle! The time has come to open our doors to young women—offering them the same terrific education we've been providing to young men for more than 170 years. Because as the world evolves, so should we.

To start exploring whether La Salle is right for your daughter and/or son, fill out the form and we'll be in touch. We'd also be happy to arrange a socially distant, private, customized tour for your family at a time that works for you. If you'd like to visit, simply choose an available time slot. FAQs About Our Mission Expansion

We offer 11 AP courses across our curriculum, with the opportunity to earn credits at Hudson Valley Community College. This semester, 81 students are receiving 572 college credits.

“La Salle has been an incredible blessing to our family. Two of our sons began their academic journey with LSI last year. Within weeks we observed growth in our boys, both academically and in maturity. Hearing that LSI will now allow our daughters the same incredible and unique benefits is an answer to our prayers.”

Parent of two 8th grade boys and mother of incoming female 9th grader

“I did not realize it at the time, but my La Salle education was a primary reason I was successful in life. I felt prepared to go forward in whatever endeavor I chose. I fully recommend La Salle for any student–male or female.”

La Salle Institute alum

“My father attended La Salle Institute but because it has always been an all-boys school, my sisters and I could not.  I think it’s fantastic that future generations of young women will have the opportunity not only to receive a top notch education, but to carry on family legacies.”

Parent of 11th grader

“Making the ‘switch’ from public school to La Salle is absolutely the BEST decision we have ever made. Everyone involved in the process from admissions to financial aid, the coaches and teachers have all shown a true commitment to each student and family.”

Parent of a current 11th grader

“With the help of Mr. House and the entire La Salle Community, we were offered a financial aid package that made our dream a reality, and my family will forever be grateful.”
