Grades 5-12

There’s no better way to experience La Salle than by attending our Open House! Take in a performance by our award-winning band. Meet with coaches, club moderators, teachers, and our current students. Enjoy free food truck refreshments, and check out our new STEM Center! You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about our new 5th-grade class beginning in Fall 2026.

I’m excited to meet you and show you why La Salle’s enrollment is the highest it has been in nearly two decades!

Private school enrollment continues to grow across the U.S., as more families opt for smaller, structured learning environments. But how do you know what’s right for your son or daughter? You take a closer look.

At Open House, come see what makes La Salle the Capital Region’s leading Catholic co-ed college preparatory school, where students of all faith backgrounds thrive. In the meantime, here’s what we promise:

An Exceptional Education

We’re constantly investing in our faculty, facilities, and resources to ensure that we’re giving our students the best experience. Most recently, we created a new $1 million STEM center and upgraded 12 classrooms with state-of-the-art digital technology.

Cadets in College

Through our innovative partnership with neighboring Hudson Valley Community College, named this year’s “Best College in the Capital Region” by Times Union voters, LSI high school students can earn college credit at no cost to families. (And that credit easily transfers to most four-year colleges and universities!)

We Make Leaders

Our unique leadership curriculum directly addresses preparation for the challenges of life, focusing on topics such as public speaking and conflict resolution. It’s the #1 thing we hear from LSI alumni: These leadership lessons made all the difference in their success.

Personal Attention and Inclusivity

Because we’re a private school, we’re able to offer a small, safe, and inclusive experience in which your student will be nurtured and educated—mind, body, and soul. Here, teachers believe in your student just as much as you do. Every day, LSI students are greeted, supported, and welcomed by faculty and by each other.

Where Our Graduates Go

While You’re Here, Ask Us About…

OUR 100% COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE RATE

LSI has a long and successful track record of its college-bound graduates achieving a 100% acceptance rate, not to mention millions of dollars in college scholarships.

OUR GENEROUS MERIT AND FINANCIAL AID OPPORTUNITIES

We’ll talk to you about the opportunities available and how we can help your family plan for a La Salle education.

OUR EXTRACURRICULARS

We offer sports teams for both boys and girls—including swimming, hockey, softball, soccer, and more. (And just recently, LSI was recognized as an NYSPHSAA School of Distinction for our scholar-athletes!) In addition to athletics, there are countless activities, like Drill Team, Chess Club, IT Club, and Art.

PRIVATE VS. PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION

We’ll talk about the differences between the two—return on investment, leadership development, athletics, personal attention and support, the Cadets in College program, and more.
